Bulgarian Chamber of commerce and Industry – Project Promoter
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (established in 1835) is a nationally represented horizontal nonprofit private nongovernment organization for assistance, promotion, representation and protection of the business interests of its companies members, today more than 53,000. BCCI is one of the 4 employers’ organizations in Bulgaria, officially recognized by the Government, and in this quality the Chamber is a social partner of the Government. Representatives of BCCI participate in a significant number of committees and working groups where business and social issues are discussed. BCCI offers a wide variety of services, such as a Voluntary Unified Trade Register, organization of events in support of business, different consultancy services and advices. The provided services cover the whole geographical territory of Bulgaria through the nationally represented membership and through the network of the 28 regional chambers of commerce and industry. BCCI is a part of the integrated international network of chambers of commerce throughout the world and a member of various international organizations, joint-chambers and councils like International Labor Organisation (ILO), EUROCHAMBRES, Central European Initiative, EEN and others.
Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) - Project partner
Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) is the largest business organisation in Norway. NHO represents the manufacturing and service industry, and the knowledge- and technology based enterprises. NHO has more than 26 000 member companies with over 560 000 employees. NHO was established in 1900. The headquarters is in Oslo, and there are 10 regional offices spread across Norway. NHO 16 affiliated nationwide sectoral federations. All aspects of society are of interest for NHO, and among the organisation's core activities promoting business-friendly policies and legislation. NHO also concludes collective agreements on behalf of employers vis-à-vis trade unions. NHO is often consulted before the Government decides to introduce legislation and other measures in the social field. NHO is represented in the national social dialogue through both permanent committees and task forces. NHO has a long history for working at international level. NHO has a department dedicated for assisting and cooperating with social partners abroad in capacity building activities. NHO takes part in international employers' activities through a number of organisations, among them are BusinessEurope, International Organisation of Employers (IOE), International Chamber of Commerce and World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
Norwegian Bulgarian Business Group (NBBG) – Project partner
The Norwegian-Bulgarian Business Group (NBBG) was established in 2015 as a non-profit organization with the support of Norwegian Embassy in Bulgaria and Telenor. The purpose of the Business Group is to support and protect the economic interests of its members and to assist their development with knowledge, networking and know-how. NBBG stands for core Norwegian values like transparency, zero tolerance against corruption, equality, CSR activities, decent work conditions and open dialogue. The main focus is also related to strengthening the Norwegian-Bulgarian business relations and encouraging the bilateral economic activities. The vision of the organization is to represent, address and support not only the needs of Norwegian companies in Bulgaria but also Bulgarian companies that work in Norway, and any other member company, regardless to the size of its business. The NBBG provides consultations, services, networking opportunities and organizes special events, round tables and business conferences.
